2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to use cryptocurrency software and engage in peer-to-peer asset exchanges in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Prototype / Pre-Release Disclaimer — Important
Razor Wallet is a prototype under active development. By participating:
- The software is experimental, provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
- Atomic swap technology carries inherent risks during testing. Use only small amounts you can fully afford to lose. Prototype builds may contain bugs that could result in extended fund lock-up during a time-lock window or, in edge cases, loss of funds.
- HTLC parameters (time-lock durations, hash functions) are subject to change without notice during the prototype phase.
- Do not use prototype builds for high-value production swaps.
- We may reset, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
4. Atomic Swap — Technical Risks and Limitations
The atomic swap engine uses Hash Time-Locked Contracts (HTLCs) deployed on public blockchains. By using this feature, you acknowledge:
- HTLC-based atomic swaps are experimental technology. Prototype implementations may contain undiscovered bugs.
- If a time-lock expires and the refund transaction fails due to network congestion, wallet software bugs, or user error, funds may remain locked until manual recovery procedures are applied.
- Swap completion depends on both parties being online and responsive within the time-lock window.
- Grey Dog Software, LLC is not liable for losses arising from counterparty non-performance, network failures, or user error in the atomic swap process.
- Smart contract code for HTLCs will be open-sourced and audited before public launch. Prototype contracts are unaudited.
Non-custodial Commitment: Grey Dog Software, LLC does not hold, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or funds at any stage of the atomic swap process. HTLC contracts are deployed from and to user-controlled wallet addresses.
5. Participation Tracks
Participation as a beta tester, DeFi power user, or builder/integrator does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship. Benefits described on the website are offered at our sole discretion. Formal integration partnerships and SDK access are governed by separate written agreements.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Service, including the "Razor Wallet" name, brand, HTLC abstraction engine, and wallet software, is the property of Grey Dog Software, LLC unless explicitly marked open-source. Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the Service to facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, or any illegal activity.
- Attempting to exploit HTLC time-lock mechanics to gain unfair advantage in a swap.
- Reverse-engineering proprietary components of the swap engine.
- Publicly disclosing unannounced prototype features without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GREY DOG SOFTWARE, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE ATOMIC SWAP FEATURE, ANY HTLC CONTRACT BEHAVIOR, COUNTERPARTY NON-PERFORMANCE, OR OTHER ASPECTS OF THE PROTOTYPE SERVICE.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grey Dog Software, LLC from any claims, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
